Meeting notes to CRM update template

A template for turning messy meeting notes into structured CRM fields, next steps, and follow-up reminders.

What changes after the meeting

The workflow extracts only the fields that should change: decision maker, pain point, timeline, objection, next step, owner, and follow-up date. It should not rewrite the whole account record.

Approval flow

The account owner sees a small change list and approves or rejects each item. This makes the system feel like an assistant instead of an unpredictable bot with CRM write access.

Useful guardrails

Require a direct quote or note reference for budget, timeline, and competitor claims. If the note is ambiguous, the workflow should mark the field as uncertain rather than updating the CRM.
